Seafarers' Ministry

The Great Commission commands us to "go and make disciples of all the nations..."  At our area ports, we have the opportunity to minister to people from every corner of the world. In many cases, these seafarers are from countries where missionaries are not allowed. Here we are free to share the Gospel.

The Seafarer's Ministry is to provides a variety of literature for incoming ocean going freighters to be used by the on-board crew.  Rev. John Van Hemert, with help from Kevin Byker and Jim Ballwebber, personally deliver a large volume of magazines and Christian-based reading material to the crew's quarters.
